DON'T PICK THAT SNOOT

Blow you nose, don’t pick that snoot, that habit is gross and dirty.
It’s not polite to pick your nose, but it feels good temporarily.

One night Lucie was alone in bed and she had an itchy proboscis
With nobody looking she thought it’d be o.k. to dig inside where it’s toxic.
She pulled the covers over her head and picked the perfect finger.
As she dug into her nostril that night, she thought she’d found a zinger.

Blow you nose, don’t pick that snoot, that habit is gross and dirty.
It’s not polite to pick your nose, but it feels good temporarily.

Well poor Lucie’s life then drastically changed cuz her finger got stuck in her snout.
She tugged, pulled, pried, prayed, even greased it up
But she just couldn’t get it out.  Everywhere she went and everything she did
People asked, “Lucie what’s that about?  In every picture you take you block your pretty face.”
She had to deal with that hand in front of her mouth.

Blow that nose; don’t pick that snoot, that habit is gross and dirty.
It’s not polite to pick your nose, but it feels good temporarily.

In grades one and two, half way through three she was always getting teased.
As time droned on with that finger stuck, she found it more difficult to breathe.
Her problem was solved one day at school while she was eating peppered peas.
Sitting all alone she took a big ole sniff and let out a bellowing sneeze.

Blow your nose.  Wipe your snoots.  That habit is gross and dirty.  It’s not polite to pick your nose, but it feels good temporarily.  Blow your nose and wipe your snoots.  Some things are gross and dirty.  It’s not polite to pick your nose, it only feels good temporarily.
